Abstract We develop a protocol for entanglement generation in the quantum internet that allows repeater node to use n -qubit Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) projective measurements can fuse successfully entangled links , i.e., two-qubit Bell pairs shared across network edges, incident at node. Implementing -fusion, ≥ 3, is principle not much harder than 2-fusions (Bell-basis measurements) solid-state qubit memories. If we allow even 3-fusions nodes, find—by developing connection modified version of site-bond percolation problem—that despite lossy (hence probabilistic) link-level generation, and probabilistic success fusion one generate between end parties Alice Bob rate stays constant as distance them increases. prove this powerful property possible attain with any networking built multiplexing alone. also design two-party key distribution converts states two nodes into secret, independent parties.
